STUDENT EXPECTATIONS:
- Students are expected to stay in their seats.
- Students are expected to be engaged in lessons and not disturb others.
- Students are expected to talk only with permission. Excessive talking will not be allowed.
- Students are expected to follow school policy regarding chewing gum, candy, and tobacco.
- Students are expected to clean up after his/herself.
- Students are expected to use the restroom before class unless there is an emergency.
- Students are expected to refrain from emotional outbursts and the use of foul language. These acts will be disciplined immediately.
- Students are expected to show respect to teachers, staff, substitutes, and guests.
- Acts of vandalism will be punished.
- Students are expected to come to class prepared with all of their materials.
- Students are expected to be on time for class.
- Students are expected to sharpened pencils at the beginning of the class period. Paper will be thrown away at the end of the class.
- Students are expected to refrain from using derogatory remarks about yourself or others.
- All other rules in the student handbook and by individual class teachers will be observed.
Testing Procedures
No talking, communicating or unnecessary noises will be tolerated during testing. Use a cover sheet and keep your eyes on your paper. Students should raise their hand if there is a question about the test or if a pencil needs sharpening. Students should stay seated and follow instructions. Any violation of these rules before all tests are turned in will result in a zero on the test.
