“Music education opens doors that help children pass from school into the world around them – a world of work, culture, intellectual activity, and human involvement. The future of our nation depends on providing our children with a complete education that includes music.”  – Gerald Ford

Originally from Milledgeville, GA, I moved to Alabama to attend Jacksonville State University and later received a Bachelor of Arts in Music. While in school, I had the pleasure of performing and traveling with the world-renowned Marching Southerners, JSU Jazz Bands, Chamber Winds, HARDCORPS: The JSU Pep Band, and numerous other ensembles in which I was lucky enough to be surrounded some of the best professors and students in the field of music.

We are so fortunate to have music available in our schools. My passion for music began when I joined band in 6th grade, and now I'm lucky enough to be able to share that experience with students every day.

In my free time, I enjoy sitting on the porch, a nice cup of coffee, college football Saturdays, and performing as a freelance musician.
